Evil Dead Rise (2023)

Overall pretty solid movie with a fair amount of fan service to the Evil Dead franchise. There were a few really well done kills that stood out in the movie to me as well as some VFX shots that really intensified moments. Specifically the elevator scenes were done really well.
Additionally, the film does a great job of pacing when there is only a few different locations. Off the top of my head I can think of the apartment, the hallway, the elevator, the garage, and the whole sequence at the lake house at the beginning of the film.
Something that stood out for the film was the opening title card. It became quite viral on TikTok, so if that's a good indication of a film doing something right then hell yeah!
Good bit of fun. Kills proved to be inventive and well made.
